Piggie Bedroom 

When staying with us guinea pigs are housed in a fully furnished (insulated) 6ft outside home, and have access to a separate run. 

Fully Insured and DBS checked

Garden runs for good weather

Indoor runs for cold and hot weather

Fleece lined for high standards of hygeine

Includes hay, forage and fresh vegetables

Each group of piggies have 1 whole floor.

I offer experienced, safe and insured holiday boarding for guinea pigs 

I CANNOT board rabbits due to lack of space :(

A £10 deposit is required for every boarding request. If you need to cancel your booking the deposit will be refunded, if the cancellation is made 48hrs before you are due to drop off the pigs. If you cancel within 48hrs then full payment is required

Important Information

 

Any vet bills will need to be reimbursed, I will make every effort to contact you before taking your piggie to the vet if needed.

 

I work shifts so I would recommend booking your pigs off the day before you go as I cannot guarantee I will be home for you to drop them off on the day.

No, we do not.

How far in advance do I need to book?

As soon as possible as spaces are limited.

What is included with guinea pig boarding?

Pampered Piggies boarding includes a furnished insulated 6ft outdoor home, access to a separate run, fleece lining, hay, forage, fresh vegetables and one whole floor per group of piggies. The service is also described as fully insured and DBS checked.

How much does guinea pig boarding cost?

Our rates are £6.50 per night for one guinea pig, £8 for two, £10 for three and £12 for four. For more than four piggies, owners are asked to get in touch. A £10 deposit is required for every boarding request.

How far in advance should I book guinea pig boarding?

Book as early as possible because boarding spaces are limited. Pampered Piggies recommends booking your piggies in as soon as you know your dates, especially around busy holiday periods.

Do guinea pigs need vaccinations before boarding?

Guinea pigs do not need routine vaccinations, but they should still be healthy before boarding. MSD Veterinary Manual advises that guinea pigs do not need vaccinations, but they should have routine vet checks and be seen promptly if they show signs of illness.

Do you offer indoor guinea pig boarding?

Pampered Piggies states that indoor boarding is not currently offered. Boarding piggies stay in an insulated outdoor setup with access to runs, with indoor runs used during cold or hot weather.

Do you board rabbits?

No. Pampered Piggies states that they cannot board rabbits due to lack of space. The boarding service is focused on guinea pigs.
